Michelle Bryant-Jones

I would like to introduce myself to you and just share a little bit about me and my journey to State Farm.

I am the fifth child out of seven and the youngest girl in the family. I grew up in the city of Chicago and thought that my world was complete. Little did I know that there was this great big world out there with millions of things to discover.

I started my adventure with the United States Army. My tour was overseas in Germany. I spent just under 4 years in Europe visiting places like Paris, Rome, England, Spain, Garmisch, Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfort, and a host of other towns and cities along the way. As a younger person, I didn't appreciate the peacefulness and simplicity of that life but continue to long for it as I get older.

Forrest Gump and Dr. Seuss would be the closest comparison that I could make about my life. I was able to accomplish some very miraculous feats without realizing that they were so spectacular.

Eventually I landed back in the United States and went from serving my country to serving my customers. I spent a career in the food and hospitality industry. The biggest takeaway that I have from that experience is that you meet the greatest and the worst of people.

Anyone who knows me on a personal level understands that it is near impossible for me to walk away from a challenge or a person in need. I make it a point to pay life forward. I was able to help people of different lifestyles, ages, educational background, and maturity levels to create lucrative careers for themselves and their family members. It is important that we share and give of ourselves to ensure that we make the world a little bit better for the next generation.

I wanted to try my hand at something new and decided to enter into public service with the Internal Revenue Service. Needless to say, although the work was admirable, it did not inspire me or give me the opportunity to teach, develop, share, and create road maps to success for others.

I have a supportive, understanding, and loving spouse and 3 phenomenal children. My mother joined my household in 2006 so that I could ensure her twilight years are enjoyed and cherished in a safe loving environment.

It is essential for my soul to be able to guide and help my fellow human navigate their journey with all of my abilities. State Farm is the avenue that I needed to address the calling in my life. I know you have choices and decisions that you make everyday in your life. Know that if you allow me to serve you and your family, your needs and decisions will always be first. I'm just here to help it make sense for you and your lifestyle.
